Portuguese written language was based on Roman script. Origin of Portuguese language is the result of symbiosis of Galician-Portuguese language of the Middle Ages, Doric Roman and elements of Celtic language.
As a rule, our fellow countrymen connect Portuguese language with such famous writers as Jorge Amado, José Saramago, the explorer Vasco da Gama, the famous football player Pelé, and the heroine of the first Brazilian television series appeared in distribution service of Russia - “Slave Isaura”.
