Polish language is one of the languages of the Slavic group. Therefore, phonetic and grammar rules are similar in the most part. If you don’t know any word in Polish, try to say it in Russian modifying an ultimate syllable, for instance, "писачь", "читачь" (read). There is a great probability to hit it. But it should be taken into account that many words with similar sounding both in Polish and in Russian can be translated differently at all. For example gospoda [господа] - snack bar, jutro [ютро] - tomorrow, kilka [килька] - several, zapomnic' [запомнич] – to forget. Polish language has an excellent peculiarity: a stress in Polish words should not cause difficulties even with beginners in studying Polish language, because it always falls upon a penultimate

Apparent similarity of Russian and Polish language should not mislead You. For high – quality translation from Polish language (or to Polish language), a translator should have great skills and should feel the language to transfer correctly a semantic message put in the source text.
