The Arabic language – the language of Arabic speaking population, the total number of which, up to the present moment is 320 million of people. People of the Near and Middle East (Syria, Iraq and Jordan), in countries of Arab Peninsula (Kuwait, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates) and in some African states (Egypt, Algeria, Somali, Sudan etc.) speak the Arabic language.
Arabic language is a Semitic language of Arabian subgroup (Afro-Asiatic linguistic family). The classic Arabic language ascends to the old Arabic language and is mainly functioning as an official language of television, press, science etc. The basis of the Arabic written language is an Arabic alphabet, consisting of 28 letters, called “Khuruf” and three additional signs, which are not separate letters of the Arabic alphabet (khamza, ta-marbuta, alif-maksura). Arabian letters are used for writing from right to left. As of today the Arabian writing is used, for instance, in such languages as Urdu and Dari.  The variety of dialects of the spoken Arabic language (5 groups of dialects) is explained by the large areal of its expansion. From the linguistics point of view, many Arabic dialects are practically separate languages that make difficulties in the process of oral communication of people from different Arab countries.
