Modern dialects of Ukrainian language joining several major Ukrainian dialects:

• The northwestern (dialects of Polesye)
• The south-western (dialects of Galicia, Zakarpattia oblast, Bukovyna)
• The south – eastern (dialects of the Dnieper region used as the basis for standard Ukrainian language).

Existence of original form of Russian and Ukrainian languages symbiosis – “Surzhyk” is noted in areas bordering Russia. Surzhyk is a hybrid of Ukrainian grammar and phonetic peculiarities with mixed Russian – Ukrainian lexis.
Many people think Ukrainian language is easy and translation from Ukrainian into Russian or vice versa -   sheer waste of time. But it should be remembered that Ukrainian language is original language with centuries-long history and characteristic features, which in the process of translation can be accounted only by high-skilled professional.
